About the workplace

PuraSec merged with Privacy Company in 2025. This has enabled us to combine services relating to information security and privacy management: two areas that are inextricably linked. Externally, we retain our own, recognisable brand names; internally, we are increasingly becoming a single organisation.

Job responsibilities

Using your knowledge and skills, you will advise our clients on information security. This involves, amongst other things:

  • supporting organisations and providing guidance on implementing information security standards (such as ISO 27001);
  • conducting ISO 27001 (internal) audits for various clients;
  • advising our clients on how to take their information security to the next level;
  • depending on your assignment, advising on policies and processes or drafting them yourself;
  • mentoring and coaching colleagues;
  • knowledge and experience in the field of NIS2 is an advantage.

Qualifications

By providing proactive input, you will help to improve our products and services. You will also help to strengthen our team further by sharing your knowledge and experience. We facilitate this through regular knowledge-sharing sessions with your team.

We are looking for an experienced information security consultant. For the senior security consultant role, we require a minimum of higher national education (HBO) level of working and thinking, as well as at least 5 years’ demonstrable experience in the field of information security. Your experience and skills will help determine your career opportunities. It is, of course, important that you have experience with the ISO 27001 standard (and/or NEN 7510/BIO/NIS2) and a keen interest in cybersecurity. Experience and knowledge are a significant advantage.
