Initially, we had engaged another party to help us with the ISO 27001 implementation. They provided us with templates, allowing us to take care of the process ourselves. However, we noticed that this approach resulted in very little progress, as we have many other priorities as a company, which meant that this could easily fade into the background. In order to get the whole thing off the ground, we started looking for a more practical framework and came into contact with PuraSec.
After the first meeting, the whole process already seemed so much clearer and less daunting, making it manageable. PuraSec guided us so that we could move forward with the process more quickly, which saved us a considerable amount of time and money. We were ready for the audit in three months!

As an organisation, we believe it is important to have our processes in order, but also to continuously improve them. We are already doing a lot of things right, but we felt it would be valuable to formalise this within our organisation. In addition, we noticed that our customers were attaching increasing importance to ISO 27001 certification or including it as a requirement in tenders. It always took us a lot of time to answer all the questions to demonstrate that we had a well-functioning ISMS. Now we can refer to the ISO 27001 certification, which is much more efficient.
In addition, we wanted our ISMS to be digital, preferably in Confluence. We are therefore very pleased that we have found a suitable framework in the form of Instant27001 to do this. It is a good setup that covers everything, and with PuraSec's knowledge, it has been set up correctly and helps us to do better now and in the future. Thanks to this framework, we have also been able to automate a large part of the process, which saves a lot of time.

What PuraSec did very well was to guide the process and involve us in a motivating way. We didn't have to figure out very complex things ourselves, but provided input based on their questions, which laid the foundation. We found the collaboration to be positive and appreciate that PuraSec was always available to answer questions. They also understood how important it was for us to take a pragmatic approach and keep things simple. And so, suddenly, we had a complete and appropriate ISMS, without feeling like we had gone through an agonisingly long and complex process. The icing on the cake, of course, was our certification, which was what it was all about!
