We are a digital tech company that provides artificial intelligence-driven care pathway technology. Our solution has been developed by and for healthcare professionals and focuses on chronic, complex and costly conditions. The technical solution ensures that patients are “navigated away” from known risks associated with their condition based on historical data. Our field of work is healthcare, and we use (a lot of) patient data in our innovative platform. This means that we have to be more cautious than the Pope when it comes to information security and comply with many (international) laws, regulations and information security standards. This is ingrained in our DNA and is the reason why we have had a partnership with PuraSec since our inception in June 2019, which supports us in this area.
We are a start-up company that takes a flexible approach to healthcare in order to test our innovations in practice together with the market. This requires a partner who can match that flexibility and also understands the vagaries of a start-up in a challenging industry. The tooling we used was a perfect fit for PuraSec's pragmatic approach. Using a practical, fillable framework in Confluence, we were able to follow the steps for setting up an ISMS in a clear manner and immediately documented all processes together. This also forms a good basis for safeguarding the ISMS and following up on the plan-do-check-act cycle.
